Hi,
I'm so lame, don't know how to make the "dnb whirls" on both the snare and cymbals/hihat.
U know the typical ones. How am i supposed to do them? now use Sonar 2 +drummachine.
I got reason 2 as well.. plz help me!

I think he means the 'ghosts' that are played inbetween the loud snare hits. It a thing that really helps to make the beat roll.

it's not the thing i thought of... mean the hysterical drump parts of for example Aphex Twin Come to daddy, u knw what i meen

could you post a sample? cuz i have no clue what u're talking about..

an other way of finding that out is sampling the break, cutting it up, and recomposing it in yer sequencer.. learned much more doing this then by asking 'howto's' on forums Wink

hmm not sure... i think it's timestretched (an oldschool technique which repeats small parts in a sample real fast), cut up and recomposed but don't quote me on it...

that's things you must experiment on... can't really describe that it's too fucked up Big Grin

Those are just very fast notes following eachother, try a succession of 1/32th notes or 1/64th notes
