Please check out my new track 'Under Pressure( re-equed)' and post your comments here!!!
i dont have the flp for this anymore although i wish i did, but i have run the tune though soundforge and tried to make it sound cleaner, but you cant polish a turd...
basically its one of the few tunes i've made that have represented what i like to hear in a dnb track, and exactly how i felt at the time - using all the knowledge i had about FL.
2 yrs old but all comments are greatly apprieciated
This track has been deleted on the producer's request

very much feeling this one.
the kind of arpeggiator melody on the top grabbed me, tho on occassion it seemed there were bits taht didn't were a bit off, tho those may have been deliberate.
the intro short little stabs you have (like at approx 0:10) are jkust that little bit too short imo, they just seem a bit funny being that abrupt.
very nice and very dramatci build up around 1:17, and the main hook that comes in after does the job well also, but theres a lack of clarity in the sound thats a bit irritating. and some of the huh vocal stuff i don't like.
but yeah its all a bit clogged sound wise, distorted in a bad way. and tyho melodically what comes in on 2:31 over the top probably works, its one layer too much and just sounds messy, in a bad way.
but for the idea, this track is really well up there imo, its inventive, enough changes to keep you interested, lots of ittle stuff to keep you entertained, and also the bass hook is pretty cool.
deffo good work.

its fucking annoying losing a project file, devasting at the time, its happened to me just after a mixdown before i heard the ultra-final finished product, i was gutted, and thats how i feel about this tune

heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !
really good tune (for an old tune)
i like this kind of stress intros
no need of this bad synth,o nly rhe stress wav will be very cool :-) (i mean the synth that appears at 21 sec.
just pu the stress sound alone, amplify it progressivly and add some kind of tremolo filters to the end of it. then on the break a fat scream could be nice
nice b-line but to loud for me, need more high middles frequences i think.

Not digging the Arpeggio at the beginning. Intro break is nice, solid, fat and crisp. Cool.
Very nice after the drop.. like that break, though I would like the 1st hit of the BD to have more velocity than the others.
Good work, keep on it.

Wow, Excellent track!
Arpeggiator on top I didnt dig all that much. As the song evolved, I though it was better and better. Perfect mix of synths and bass. I thought perhaps you can cut/chop/studder you drums up front to mix it up a bit before the "metamorphisis" at 1:26. That changeup was totally out of the blue & totally out of control!!! Yea man sweet track,

tune!!!
I missed the first version.
starts off great, the high synth line is class. but you're giving away too much perhaps with them basses? we'll see
drops: wicked stuff, bassline is well dancefloor rinsin
I take back waht I said about the intro. beats are great, as far as the sequence goes, they could sound a lot better, also you've got clashing frequencies but this is 2 years old?!
I as kind hoping for a return of that bleepy line from the intro. ah well
fucking great tune man, probably the best from you. shame you lost it - such a waste
I'd be dying to remix it

personally I think the synth in the intro is kind of cheesey sounding. But thats just personal opinoin. Like the drums a lot, they have a nice feel to them. Kick could of used a better punch, but I understand how it is to loose project files.
When this drops it seems kind of cheesey once again, synth wise that is anyways. Liked the bassline. Decent tune in all, just not my style.

I liked the synth stabs that come in about 2:20, the falling ones, though could be a little higher up in the mix. The snare needs to punch through a bit more, it sounds a bit distant. Sucks you lost the file bro, would've liked to have heard a nicer mixdown of this cos this tune has great elements and ideas, i especially like that metallic swishing stab sounds around the same time as the synth stabs!

eZ Glim. Im listenin now.... this one builds nicely. atmospheres are good. and the small female vocal snippets.
k....The drop is nice n heavy. I dont much like the bass tho tbh. sounds like a stand-up bass. I expected some sick, crazy bass lines. nice lil switch-ups thrown in. whoa...the 'huh huh huh huh' is kinda cool.
This tune has 'drive' and 'direction' if u know what I mean. I keep wondering where it will go next.
thats a very good characteristic i think. The mixdown is quality too i think,
Nice work man,.... keep em comin'
id ask you to check my latest thing, but im havin trouble uploadin it.

Whats up man! I just want to start off by saying I like this tune. But before I give you my comments. You are in the UK right?? I can kind of just tell without you telling me. The UK is getting into that Dark 2step style a little to much for my taste. But this tune is sick, except for the constant 2 step beat. It needs to break up a little and there are certain parts were you should reverse the track and and a rewind sound like right when the synth changes. The EG'n is almost perfect. Just fuck with the beat a little more, maybe add another layer onto it, then you have yourself a proper Dark Style song. Otherwise, you have a decent 2step Dark Style. Dont get me wrong the synths and bass rock but the beat......eeeeehhhhh......I could dowithout! Just my thoughts man
