that track is some crazy ass shit man.

the synth work is class in the intro and infact most of the track..

like it how its starts with the 5, 11 snare beat then drops into the 5 n 13 beat.

will give more detail tomorrow....too tired right now.

Fucking huge intro man,..right on with the vocal's,..sounded sick,..id say there's to much dist goin on but im guessin this is fully intended,..even so,.. still a bit to much of it imo,...man your synth sound's and sampls are heavy duty,..i agree that you've got an own sound mighty Cynik,..that's never easy to do,..hat's off to ya,..anypoo,..keep at this beast!...and thanks for the review on my tune,..allway's helpfull man,..cheers. yeah maybe a tad too distortion, as I haven't really done any cleaning of the clashing frequencies etc. just the basic sequencing

okay, playing it through my system at home now...
that first synth u use sounds a little distorted and it fits well imo, gives the tune a gritty edge. Big Grin

all the synth and bass work leading up to the wicked female vox is pure top notch and very original, sounds like you could take this anywhere at this point in the tune..

that second sample around 10 secs has a great ed rush n optical feel about it..

the breakdown is good too, need to put some reverb on that phat reece thingy, sounds too upfront in the mix imo.. Big Grin

drops in to some heavy beatz, Drummer
excellent really drives the track.. Pleased

now what follows with your use of that almost alarm sounding stab that you occasionally have on its own like its eating into the tune, i would normally not dig, but coz it sounds so original and unique and is used unexpectantly ...well it jus makes overall a well thought out tune giving the listener a much better experience.. Big Grin Big Grin


fuckin love how you have those build up bits with the drums ..i love holdin back snares too , realy boosts the tracks intensity.. safe!

keep playig this man so much goin on but yet feels easy to get into..

cant wait to hear it if you finish it
all i can offer as advice is maybe put some reverb on the synth thingy on the breakdown and maybe a sample or two on those drum build ups where you hold back dem snares!!!

no its not. im not very experienced with mastering yet but i think the mixdown sounds horrible. must be the the heavy limiting. was this intended? just took a look on it in wavelab Big Grin

I agree it's far from perfect but I had much shittier sounding mixdowns for which I spent way more time on than this. I was actually quite happy that the bass was not clipping, all else will be easier to cope with.
