cool soulful stuff in the intro, good remix choices
some very nice touches around the drums, although it's all too soft for my taste. cool nevertheless
the offbeat delays are a great idea but maybe those prior to the drop(s) need more attention to fit better
watch out the levels on the bass at 3:50
still good though

Sweet tune bro ... nice 'n chill
Like the intro, drums are edited nicely ... it has a very loungy feeling, with the soft vocals and all, and those sweet synths comin' in all the time and choirs ... cool
good quality too ...

Getting that chilled feeling down on a track very nicely! think the bass is a bit too ruff for this style of music tho, maybe a bit too crackly, feels like its ripping the track appart. The sub fits the track nicely! real smooth. Intro fits together well, nice drums and synth then the stop gives it that little bit of a push forward straight into the track.
Nice track, well put together could definately do with changing that nasty bass for something a bit more chilled or maybe put a bit of a chorus on it imo, not sure how it would sound
. was expecting the usual camo rinse out jump up stylee but it's good to have a bit of a change. sounds crisp, keep it up.
Goin for a j...

sup sup.
your friend has nice samples. i like the filthy bassline, too. i hate to pass out lables, but this has a james hardway feel (ninja tune) .. the chords/sax-snips are eq'd too high at times. that is purely cosmetic though, and also my own opinion.
i like this. the polka-beat drum rolls get old, but that is an old jazz rush anyway, so it seems almost fitting. as far as a 'drum and bass' remix goes, this does the job.

Hi mates!
thx a lot for ya reviews.
i really appreciate that!
Im happy that you like this tune.
i like the mix of the smoth rolling things and that harsh bassline. wanted to make something different than usual.
And i have to say: Fl6 is a really cool program, u can do beneath everything ya want to. i just wanted this to say, cause its underrated!!!

I'm really feeling this track, I'd buy it. good points on the random delays of the snares etc, something I personally like and you might hear this in some of my tracks too.
I did notice it has a High Contrast kind of feel to it. Either it's the pads used or the notes ur playing them in - not a bad thing though, it's a great sound to have.
Either way you've got a great overall clean sound with this track except that the Bass distorts a little. A little trick I use when getting a 'muffled bass sound' is lowering the low-mid section on the dynamics off the bass track. This will allow more open space for the low-hi section in the track, and it'll avoid any 'muffling' - as I call it.
Hope that helps a bit!! Keep up the good work.

Allo mate, I am a massive drumfunk/breaks fan not a producer so I can't help you on the technical stuff but iI do know what makes a good tune format wise, nothin wakes me up more than a bit of amen or a good complex beat, so when I heard this intro I was chuffed, nice drum work and very chilled, in fact you smacked it but suddenly out of no where this pendulum like drop came out of nowhere with a liquid sound that sounds like calibre with a bit of a edrushoptical feel in the back ground, i thought I'd give it a chance and just when i thought i was gonna turn it off, you came back in with those beautiful chops and started mixin up those beat patterns.
Overall your talented and I like your ideas but you need to scrap that drop and you need to scrap all the 4-4 beats in your tune, listen to some paradox and I think you'd be an asset to his genre.
