Please check out my new track 'abyss' and post your comments here!!!
this is an offspring of "idiot sound". changed the name because of the many things I've changed / added. this is the final version deffinitely.
used software: Reason 3 -> Traction 2 + Izotope Ozone 3
ok CHECK THIS OUT deffinitely.. it's totally not my style but I wanted to do something different
so your feedback is greatly appreciated!
please comment / review

One hell of a track man!!!...Filtered synth's at->1:02 could do with a boost,..This is indeed totally diff than your normal chunk!....I can hear influences from Nosrac, Techdiff and Surya here n there,..mostly Nosrac,..but don't get me wrong,. "Cynik insanity" all the way
...This be some mental tunage man...Mad change up->3:33 to3:39,..fucking brilliant!
..Level's on bass->3:58 sound perfect on my end,..Diggin all them pitchshift's on that cymbl-->5:40 for example,...Dig the crazy ending!,..Well i must say man,. im a bit takin back by mighty {ABYSS}!!...A fucking job well done man!!..huuuge tune,...cheers...

yeh youre right about that 1:02 synth. didn't pay attention taht well. ah you tie me with techdiff because of the rettrigered snare stuff, can't really hear connection with surya's and nosrac's work though
. anyway thnx for the review

Now that's an intro and a half! It's simply beautiful! Those synths are the story of my life.
The intro builds up to the drop perfectly.
The drop was a bit dissapointing and the bassline could climb a few more notes to make it less monotonous.
The mixdown sounds absolutely gorgeous!
Drums sound great! Maybe cut a bit more lo-end out of the kick and snare?
Edits are OFF DA HOOK!!!
Awww man that tramen needs to loop over that beat full force somewhere!
That shit is INTENSE! Boh!

nice spooky kinda anticipation with this now the beatz have dropped
its got suspense i'll give ya that...
drop: great execution of using the right amount of sounds
luv the arrangment of the sounds
k this is a phat track, would luv to hear certain gnally sounds a little louder with more high pass really give that underlying phat reece more impact
the second drop later is excellent this is a great track best i've heard on this site for a while, really cant say much more than the points i've made
this should be in the top monthly tunes poll 4sure
thanks cynik

intro ambience is sweet indeed.
i dunno if i like the kick that much, thats just me though.
snare is phat. bass drop is phat... some nice phatty teksteppa action w000t
edits and variation are really and crazy... basslines are dope as.
reverbd hits are fkn cool....
bass freq's really pound through nicely.
second drop around 2m50s is mental with crazy stabs.
i dont reckon this needs any work at all... unless you really wanna make the drums heaps cooler
personally preference though i guess.
quality tune man... liking it lots.

first listen:
nice spookie intro. all of the tracks i have reviewed so far use the spookie-ambient intro. but thats a topic for a diff thread. ahh good beat. i like the hats. the kick is a little soft, but that tells me to expect some serious bass. the drop comes and goes before you really realize it. the mini break at 1:45 is a great touch. im feeling the chopped up beats. nice work there. the overall energy and the chaos reminds me a little of G2 recordings. little. im not shoe-horning you or anything.
second listen:
the fx and overall production works for me. if this is not your 'style' i would never know. im new to this site, and have not come across your other tracks yet. the transition at 2:30 is awesome. great way to ring in the breakdown. and there are those chopped up beats again. i bet that was a pain to work out. this is a fun track. i accept it as it is. if i were to remix it, i would play with the bassline more and utilize more of the strings in the sections without the synths. an example would be the sequence at 3:40 leading into the breadkdown.
overall:
quality work. i judge each track on its individual merits, not on the producer, so its all good that this is not your style. i think its tight, from the sequence to the fx to the overall feel. sadly, i dont see a rate option anywhere in my screen, but this gets a thumbs up
keep em comin'
peace

nothing was that hard to develop here, and yeah this was a very fun track to make! developed in a couple of hours over four days and a little eq-ing took the most time

must be because youre a newbie to the forum, you must hit a certain post quota before you can vote, but don't be bothered, it's the review that counts!

wwoow nice intro , syths are hiiaiaiaigh
, nice nice.
fast steppah man , was that the track you intended me for the edits ?
sub is too low on my speakers , dunno , maybe ists my equipement.
hughe track , you have a kinda noisia style mixed with your own originallity
wicked stepper .
bass blending is one of your top points , as for the drums too.
stucture is good too and the track variates enough to keep the whole interesting.
maybe add a vocal in the break .
fast it is
so Everything is
, just the sub has a bit too much low end.

Great intro - love the industrial sounds placed back in the mix a bit add a real prof. sheen to the track. Good stereo image but the hats panned to the left are a bit distracting. Love the heavy bass that's added into the first drop. Drop out is very cool and gives us a listen to each of those quality sounds alone. Beat sounds good but a bit bouncey and standard for my liking. Love the amen filter out in the second drop out and the chopped drums that come back in at about 2:50 are a big improvement - some more quality sounds here - not too keen on the snare/cymbal (panned right) that pitches up and down. Massive hollow sound at 3:38 is wicked and gives the track great space - would love to hear more of that. More quality sounds introduced as the track goes on but the drums go back to being kinda standard and no new catchy elements carry the song into the second half. Bring back at 5:07 is damn nice but again not much new happens after that point - however, this may not be your intention. Track has great sound quality, some killer filtered hits and a nice vibe as it is so big ups
Drum edit at end is nuts. Nice work bro!
