normally i'd download one of ur tunes but seeing the title of this it reminded me of an old amiga game me an my brother had

funny shit

(maybe that the intention?)
anyways the review

great, refreshing change to start with beatz

like it sound crisp snare is good,
warm sub compliments other elements

kkk
when u change the style here def need to add somethin to the sliding synth, maybe doubl it up , its jus for a second the sound is a bit stale but just for a second.

nice breakdown
would def increase the volume of the bassline when its on low pass

k, could imagine hearin this in a set, but it does verdge on being a lil throwaway dacefloor fodda

need to add some more lines in there over that reece

as i said the sub is good and sounds like it doesnt interfer with the beatz etc

thanks mate Bigup

first listen:

nice beat. i like the raw synth. i saw 'raw' because it does not sound doctored at all. it could have a little more punch to it. that kick rush could use some variation. the synthline could use variations as well. im at the 3:15 mark, when the beats changes up to the stepper. this is a welcomed change.

second listen:

ya man, it seems that all of your transitions involve that kick rush. mix it up a little more. you have the synth variation when the beat changes up, but that is really it. you have some solid elements in the making, but the repetition takes away from their flavour.

third take:

again, i like the beat. it is easy to pick out each nuance in the hats/cymbals/snare taps. i would recommend bringing in the synth line closer to the breakdown as opposed to right off. llike around the 43 second mark when you have the vox. then, as the track evolves, add some synth variations, or fill in the empty space between the loop. this way, beat change up at 3:15, and the sub work after that leading up to the end will have more effect on the listener.

overall:

i like the opening sequence, and also when it is repeated from 1:27 to the breakdown at 1:49. i also really like the change up at 3:15. that part makes the track. the kick rush, the sample and the synth loop are all cool, but repetative. look for ways to make different transitions. look for ways to change up the synthline, or fill up the space in the synthline with echoes, lower octaves, etc. imagine yourself as a dancer listening to the track. then ask yourself, "what could this track do to keep me sweating?" you will find that many of the elements are already here. keep experimenting with the melody and the overall theme and try as many variations as you can.

keep it up, and i hope this helps.

peace

OK I thought this track started off really well. Love those beats, very punchy kick which I always like. Those effects are really affective also! The synth and build up is really realy good.....BUT......the main beat really spoils it for me im afriad... Frown The synth is exactly the same from the build up till after the drop. I think you should've removed the synth or even changed up the notes on the main drop! Trust me variation is very important... I really like the way the track changes up around 1 minute 5. Overall though, really nice production man Smile Keep up the good work and remember... VARIATION! There's nothing a raver loves more than loads of different shit punching em in the head Smile
