Ive got a M-audio firewire solo. Its nothing fancy but it does the job. Its nice and portable and nice and solid too. It gets carried around a lot for live sets and stuff so its nice not to have to worry about it.

But I wouldn't do that here. Audigy is Creative. They don't have great s/n ratios and the freq responce curves could be a lot better too. In most cases you're better of with an M-Audio card of about the same price.

Wohoooo, after careful consideration and several reconsiderations, I decided to go and buy myself Terratec Producer Phase 26 USB sound card. Amazing sound card, amazing freq. response (almost perfectly flat) and the software bundled is yupeeee FL 6 and Sound Forge... nice nice nice

I've gotta go with the Delta 1010 LT here. Sounds great, has enough I/O and is cheap for what you get! I've ran VST after VST with this thing and it holds out REALLY well.
It has:
1 x 1 MIDI I/O
2 XLR inputs
8 analog balanced XLR & unbalanced RCA female inputs
Two XLR microphone inputs with preamps (alterable by jumper to line level inputs)
S/PDIF I/O
MIDI I/O
Wordclock I/O
Bit-for-bit accurate communication via S/PDIF with pro DAT & other devices
Well worth it if you ask me

Can you understand why we have to use warez and pirated software here?
We can't use warez hardware, of course, because there ain't any.
But we have to save money a bit, you know.
The thing is that the tax of the products that come from foreign countries is 66%-120%! Like, if you have a product which costs about 50 euros in EU, it will cost 83 euros here, at the lowest price.
Oh well...
