How can you make kind of a radio sound..The ones that cops have in their car..?

a band pass filter and filter out all the low end, some distortion on a send effect, a bit crusher.........and dont forget down sampling.
cool edit use to have a "radio effect"......

there's a FREE radio vst on ...
whre is it...
hey they took off the Radio thing. i guess they thought it was crap.
oh well, here it is : Voxengo Radio VST
but eccentialy, it's not hard, all it takes is a band pass. add some hiss to it, and distort with a saturation.
you could also use a good compresion if you know how to, because all of radio sounds are compressed to be loud but not too loud..... but that's probably not what you want.
wooow, so use a band pass filter out the bottem from about 500 down, and some fo teh top, (eq would work also) and use the radio filter, and it gets a nice gritty sound with full FX and LPF cut mostly to the right and HFP cut mostly to the left.

it work's nice on grainy synths, like a 303 or synth voice, makes nice gritty distortion for it...

Maybe he doesn't want this particular VST...
anyway, it sux, so I made my own presets of distorsions and filters to create the radio sound... it works awesome - gonna hear that in my next choon
