I agree with friscko, I would also never want jbsystems again. For anything whatsoever.
I ran across this new peace of dream equipment: the ecler nuo 3
My undecided wishlist:
Vestax PMC37 pro: more expensive, more possibilities, doubt if I will ever use them.
Vestax VMC180: Haven't seen it in Belgian shops yet
, but looks damn good
Ecler nuo3: pretty much same possibilities as the VMC180, but available and eternal crossfader option (I don't use the CF much so that's no critical point to me)
Any advice or experience on these are welcome!

Rodec should be quite decent if I'm not mistaken...

this topic has been discussed a few times before be shure to check this...
rodec vs pioneer
Round up (imo he)
stay away from: numark, jb systems, behringer(
), gemini etc
good: Pioneer(good overall mixer), Vestax (more aimed at hip-hop dj's)
outstanding: Allen&Heat(amazing quality), Rodec(dito but less features)
if i was to replace current mixer(wich is a oldskool rodec) it would be a allen&heat x:one model.

Rodec: hmm you can say a lot of things about them.
- The MX180, MX240 and MX300 are all fine mixers. A lot of input channels, good faders (penny &giles), hard sound... They are often called the tanks amongst the mixers because they are very solid. That's why a lot of rental companies use rodec: they can take some throwing around with.
- On the other side These 3 are all shit expensive, you won't find a new one for less than €1000. And they don't have any options at all. they are just basic, solid, quality mixers.
And then there are the other rodec models such as the CX1100 or the mixbox. I don't have any personal experience with them. But I don't think they are worth the money. From what I've heard the build quality is way below the MX's. They are also basic, have far less input possibilities and still they cost a lot of money.
Conclusion: If you want to spend a lot of cash on a basic mixer you can win the world championship mixer throwing with, go for one of the rodec MX's. In any other case, you can get better stuff for that kind of cash.

I'm thinking of buying a new mixer too,
requirments:
-at least 3 channels!
-decent filters (effects)
-a decent crossfader for cutting & scratching (so no Allen & Heath xone 62 or 32 I'm afraid))
-good soundquality
-durability
...
anybody got any suggestions?

Maybe you could check the ecler nuo series? the nuo5 has an eternal crosfader. (based on magnetic fields, no physical parts conducting anything), on the nuo 3 you can buy the eternal fader as an option. If i'm not mistaking the crossfader curve is adjustable. On the nuo 5 you can even control the effects by a computer program.
other possibilities: vestax 3 channels, mentioned above long-live pcv faders on some.

those ecler look good, but I'm thinking of going for a Rane Empath, that looks like what I'm after.
