Please check out my new track 'New Age(prism remix)' and post your comments here!!!
Ok, this is similar to my last one, in which got the best results from you guys...however i really wanted to do soemthing different..and of course this is NO WHERE TO BEING DONE, however, its the basic idea of the track...i wanted to take the kind of dark ffeel i had to the last one, and really add a lot of trance influences...I have a lot of trance that i have been producing that is 10 billion times better than my dnb, so i decided to take some of stuff and apply to some dnb jsut to see the result...the basslines and synths are actualy from a trance song that i called "prism." Also for some reason wehn i kick the drums back in my synth becomes choped and loses echo, is there a way i can fix this cause i dont know how...anyway, check out for sure...its a quik listen, and needs a lot of work, but should surely interest many of you...

Id turn up that bass line a fair bit add some more low end to it and some variation would'nt go a miss, the drums are a tad high too ( especially the hi-hats ) and i think the conga's could be better edited imo, also needs alot more generic ambience, build ups and drop outs....i like the syth line at 2:51 gives some emotion to the track....not a bad start but as you said yourself needs some work, get crackin on it

Try a more acoustic sounding kick. If it is such one, turn its mid up a bit. Now it sounds quite digital.
Snare is fine.
Hats are crisp but too loud.
Bassline can use a boost.
I'm not very fond of basslines on the break. Sounds too housey.
Trancey string like synth is nice, melody too.
Once the drums kick back in, the synth sounds shorter. Is it, or is this a result of compression or something? I don't like it anyway, keep them as long as they were, more fluid, less chopped up
Good basis, but as you said, needs work
2.25/5

i have no idea what happened to the synths, the samples and everything stayed exactly the same..no compression or anything...i think it might have been because the other frequencys were on a 22k, and so were the synths, maybe crossing eachother...i dont know...but yea...i actually re did the whole thing AGAIN...i didnt get anything that i had going to work with my breaks...so i started over...new intro and everything...so hopefully itll be a bit better...also im gonna add a more clangy snare...more of a metal sound...a whole bunch of stuff...but the bassline was there to represent the trancy/house track, that is now a dnb track...if i can find a better pattern i will use it, but thats what i got right now...
