Please check out my new track 'New Age(prism VIP) finished' and post your comments here!!!

OK here we go one more time...this time i think i did something good...The sound quality isnt that great again so bare with me, but my experiemnts and the entire track in itself is generally finished...i decided to take the old track "new age" and really tried to do soemthing that maybe hasnt been done before...however the whole trance/dnb thing has been done, but i did it on a different level...while the basslines are the same to a typical trance song, i added some dark synths to it...added more precusion similar to the last song...and some new sound effects...this is prolly my fav song...and despite sound quality i want 100% opinions, suggestions etc...deff check it out...

Intresting snares Big Grin
Kick could use a bit more mid
Some strings (the high ones) are out of key a bit
Bassline: told you before what I think about them. Give them a boost though, they aren't very auditable...
The leadsounds are nice, and they don't sound shorter anymore with the drums going on. But they're quite loud. Turn them down a bit.
As for cutting them away: wouldn't it be nice to do it with a LP filter going down?

Once the track has dropped, you've essentially heard it though. From there on it just cuts away and back a bit... resulting in being a bit repetetive, which is a pity, coz you got a good setup for a possibly great track. Not it's just a good idear executed poorly.

2.75/5

No sub at all. Agree with Surya about bassline. Imho you sould also do something with main drum... maybe change the sample 'cause this one sounds a bit trancy and doesn't comply with DNB (imho of course). Leading synth are nice, but i would lower them by octave.
So:
Breaks: Deal with main drum, maybe add more detail to snares.
Bassline: Hardly hearable, no sub, and pretty simple. Try to use some Blood Override effect or Distortion or something, if you use FLStudio the BassBoost is very useful.
Leading: Nice melody, but as i said i would lower it an octave, and fill with some effects. Simple Phaser does the trick.
Structure: Nice, but not finished imho. I would use some dumrolls at the end of drops etc. For now it's too straight.
Mastering: I have a feeling you didn't bother, am i right? Wink Boost low freq's from 55 to 90 hz, high and high mid from 3khz to 16 khz. Use spectrum analyzer to see wich freq u have to mange.
Result:
Idea: 4 (pretty light not really my style)
Production: 3- (good base, add more details)
Mastering: 1 (sorry, bad mastering ruins everething Frown )
Soundquality: 4 (can't really judge that, at least nothing heart's my ears Smile )
Rate: 3- for now, keep on working Big Grin
Hope this review will help somehow. Of course everething i said is only my feel. Smile
