i just got an idea, i was thinking making a basic template on Fruity Loops, with all the basic skills i use in my tune to help people that just arrive into dnb.
i hope to remain modest by offering it, i do not mean thereabouts that i have good level in music production but i can at less give new producers a cool starting template.
if you agree with this idea, i propose that anybody that wanna help the scene poste here his flp template for others.
i will post my own really soon. but i'm actually using FL8. i'll try to put no additionnal non-free vst in the project template.
basically it will be a drum loop on 4 bars with an end loop break showing how to layer drum samples and eq them, and a basic wobble b-line showing how to tweak 3xOSC, add subs and eq.
i think i will post advanced template that will use additional vst fxs that i use on basses and a Reason4 rewired template with malstrom/subtractor...

yes but it will be really simplified basic templates i'll try to finish it tomorrow, it will be based on my 2 last tunes. see ya soon. Drummer

I want to try an make one too but my production skills arent up to par yet, but im really interested in seeing your layout chomp!

some ideas:

- if anyone is using an illegal version of FL, Reason, ... don't use that to make a template please;
- try to avoid using non-free VST's as a template is supposed to explain a technique rather than being a "fill in the blanks" document to let people produce rip offs of your work.;
- try to avoid copyrighted samples;

If you succeed to offer some interesting things this way it could really be good for both the site and the music style Bigup

Oh dear, I tried to open the FL file and it totally crashed the programme. Confused

Prior to that, I got a message saying I was missing a Maximiser and another plugin (I forget which one). Oh, and the first message I got said the file was created on FL8, (I have FL7). I wonder if that was the cause of the crash? Any ideas?

i can give you FL8 but you need a licence or it will open in demo mode, but i think you can open the template with the demo....
edit: (uploading FL8 right now on depositfile, i'll post link when it's done (15 minutes))
