Please check out my new track 'Gun Culture' and post your comments here!!!
i think this is my best track yet.
pulled out a lot of the knowledge learned from this site (and practice of course) and put it into this.
used a few tricks i've been meaning to try for ages
this is not to be confused with my alias
"Gun Culture" (me n culture boy).
loving this kinda sound at atm, inspired by people like icicle, lomax, g-dub.
comments would be appreciated.
biggup all the .be family, you rock!

Yeah, cool track Seven! Not sure I enjoyed it as much as your other stuff but this is still a lovely track. (I hate it when people don't dig the tracks I think are my best...
). Anyways, it's really well structured. I like that in a tune. There's enough changes and flips in there to keep the listener interested but without disrupting the flow. I can see a lot of effort went into this one.
One important element I feel could improve the track is a really fat bassline. There seems to be a lack of sub tones in there. Also, I'd like to hear a female vocal/sample in there. That's purely personal preference tho.
Beats are good throughout. Sitting nicely in the mix.
You seem pretty productive these days 7G. Good to hear it.

jump up but dark.
quite a cool style i think.
my only critisism is that the bass note is a bit on the low side.
haunting bass. love it.

nice build up, nice fx in the intro...as i feel a drop approach i can sense that it'll be rough... drop is suprising.like the drums, realy smooth, really like it when the beat gose 2 step for a moment, nice subs trouhgout the song.. but i could appreciate a small differ in the bassline melody.. but anyway tight as hell, hope my productions in the future will be as clean as this one.. spick n span

naughty track bruv!
really like the vocal just before the drop - how did u make that - what effects?
the bass at 2.25 is fukin naughty, wouldnt mind hearing more of that meself. the sample that u got runing thru the track over the main bass is cool as well, makes it sound faster too. this tune definately reminds me of the good ol days when i was ravin in a dodgy warehouse whilst talking to a wall....mmmm....
anyways this would work well with an mc, wanna hear it with one on the mic. do agree with urself tho - FB is better imo
peace

punchy drums, dont really like the kick as ghostnote. great synth sounds. the lead reminds me of the last days by pharao monch and adam f. most of the parts need more bass.
id use some element to blend your different parts better

from an industrial music point of view. you usually add reverb o the mechine sound, since you take away from it's own natural verb by resampling it.
i like the intro part at 1:14 still, 1:46 bass hits that come in seem so much bass and are kind of distortion. probably a bit in teh 200hz section you can remove from it to clear up the sub and not muddy it up as much.
or it may b the bass kicks have to much bass. yea at 3:15 that long bass phased line is clearly conflicting with the kick. either remove most of the sub from the kick, or do a side-chain.

Two words. Minimalist. Rules.
This would sit nicely in a mix. A nice bassline with an interesting overtone, as only square wave can deliver
I agree that the bass drum is a little 'rocky', but the track moves a long well enough for you to sort of lose focus on it. The track flows nicely and that simple bassline makes it something memorable. I'll be humming it later on, I can guarantee that. Never tried humming that low before...
I like the mechanical sfx in this, one of the main reasons I love Spor's music so much. The track is sparse, but dense enough to be interesting, especially the little changes in the bassline.
As for that vocal sample, well... Brings back memories of a time where I lived near an arcade that had Time Crisis II...
A very good track. Different, but good.
