real or fake ns 10?
kick is too loud.
yea the way you set up the song, that kick really detracts, because it's not a nice sounding kick it's boomy, at the lower mids, 200hz -300hz area. could remove that with an eq.
the basslines and synths are nice. i'd assume they are real synth. oh ya, for sure, that's nice.
very jazzy style of playing, nice.

Yeh the synths are real - used a JP 8000 and a MS 2000, my favs.
Cheers for the advice on the kiks, Ill take out a little round that range n repost... eventually!
Yeh living in Japan atm - ill i hear out ere is Jazz so it kinda rubs off, glad u liked it.

i love the ideas going on in this track.
real fresh sounds.
unfortunately it is let down bigtime by the sound quality.
the beats need a total revamp in eqing. also turn em up.
the beats should dominate the track, not the synth.
on the synth....
its a beauty. real fat n nice. i love it.
kick n snare needs to be more upfront in the mix tho.
thats my preference anyway.

For a first tune this is good, even very good. Is this your first tune ever or is it just your first on this gear?
The snare has too much tail, make it shorter, the kick has too little punch. Your bass has no reall sub. The other drum elements have too little presence, use some compression on them. Your EQing needs some work too...
But the track is well made, good choice of instruments, lots of variation, good structure, good FX. Work on your sound quality and you could do really big things.

cheers for the advice u lot - yeh i know the eqing is a load of all parp - so i bought the ns10s! do u guys know where i can find some good info on how to eq tracks and master them propperly?
yeh not me first tune but my first tune on decent equiptment - just got a decent paying job but less time...
anyways the advice has made me wanna get this track right - much apreciated u guys
