Hey guys, after a lot of comments from people saying im making too much liquid, i am proud to present this track, no liquid went anywhere near the making of this one
Really good stuff as usual, different style, that's true, but I still hear that it's your track (which is great). For a track that's a bit harder and darker than your usual stuff it is still incredibly melodic which is pretty unusual in that section (again a plus). I love melodic stuff, but I have to go with Chomp. The bass needs to be heavier (not always, but some deep stabs or some nasty high freqencies every now and then). And the overall atmosphere seems too "flat".

intro: nice synths and drums.....0:48..drums are bit high (snare)..........intro is getting a bit long...like tha pitch of the pad.....high synth also interesting.....a crash befor the break would be good....
drop: bit empty like the high pitched synth.....synth should be more upfront....now it comes in better....sawwwww..........like it more with lfo..but as i said bit empty overall.....like the vox much...
when you do that half step pause, you could have thrown another instrument into the layer, just another light atmos.
piano scales on a casio? add a delay to it.
that's the bassline drop. it's a bit house like and not much high end to it, is uggest pitching it up and octace and making a deep sub to roll with it.
there's some filtering on it, nice. see that's what it should sound like, nice.
but this is the drop. doesn't sound much different then the rest.
you should probably switch out the drum loop or something. just to add that contrast of the drop and the rest of the song. there was tension building but not an effect enough release. the song doesn't exploded it just kind of goes on.
couldn't even tell if the song repeated. try to get the same bassline for the second drop, but make it slightly different. maybe add some other precussive elements to the drops, you know more drum layers, or bongos, whatever you like.
it's a kind of liquid song, it's nice.

cheers CJ Styles,..quality synth's at intro...nice and bright,..vox over top that hard bass sounds heafty,.,..nice one,. was just about to suggest some heafty lfo on that hard bass,..diggin how you held back,..forshure gives it more impact,..great tune as allway's,..dirty wobbl nails it,...cheers.
yes bruv,likin it alot mate,theres a lil sprinkle of da ol liquid on it,buil up is my favourite lovin what ever synth you used,drop is cool,bass needs a lil bit more omph(imo) lovin the floaty in out vocal stuff,all in all like it :0
the only advice i can give to this track? hire a MASSIVE P.A, stick it out the front of your joint and fuckin crank it up as far as it will go. man, this is some damn good shit. I wanted to fuck shit up bad, well bloody done!

bizzare piano synth comes out of nowhere
drops: fat bass. modulations that follow IMO could be refined more
strong theme, structure is well done. reminds of some bcomplex stuff
tell me if whenever you want to work on that collab we talked off, maybe on this one?

I thought that should be a liquid vibe tune
Anyways the bass is nice , but the tune feels abit , just a lil' bit empty , i suggest using mo trashing of the beat ...

Thanks for the listen and the comments guys, looks like i still managed to get some liquid in there despite my best efforts lol. Definately feeling the slightly lack of depth in this one, gonna try and work on the drums some more, and pack some more punch with the bass. Also i agree that the piano needs a bit more softening up, seems a little staccato at the moment, will try and have a fiddle with delay/reverb on that bad boy.
i like the track over all for sure. bass is a bit flat though i think some mroe melodies would help for sure. but its a hefty sound bass just need some more vereations to it. the beat does sound like its maybe adjust the copression or do you use compresor or your drums ? if not id suggest tryin it out. im a big beat drums kinda guy and i think its very important in any track to spend as much time in makeing yoru drums stand out expeasly in dnb. not saying that you didnt i just thin they could use a bit more work. over all though i love and the track comes together keep it up. the build is nice max respect
