Was just messing around last ngiht and this song some how came out the works. Almost but not quite finished, thought i would post it up for u guys to have a listen to and let me know know what u think
Your usual High Quality Liquidish style track!
There is not much of a build-up, but that's ok for this style I think. EQing and sound quality is very good as always and everything sounds right on.
I do like this stuff, but I would like to see a little dark stab here and there. The way it sounds now does not suprise in any way, it suffers from a kind of "over-niceness", your tracks are way too good to be left unnoticed.
Also the drums you are using seem to be used in every track you produce, maybe you could layer/eq somewhat to give the drums more variation.

Track sounding good as always. Gotta agree with Battle about the drums, they sound clean as hell, they are just your everyday breaks. Good lil head bobber going on, but just lacks that umph. Also, you should change things up a bit in the second drop, its seems like it just repeats. All in all the sound is killer, overall track is OK, not bad keep at it. RespeKt!
Thanks for the comments guys muchos appreciated - i'd be the first to admit this isnt ground breaking dnb hehe, pure Middle of the Road. Definately suffering from over-sweetness, think this may be more of a summer tune.
Got a really nice breaks pack recently and have been over-rinsing i think, so on next track will promise to try not to go anywhere near it
Will have a tinker with the second section and see if i can throw a spanner in the works with some stabs/synths.
ummmmmmmmmmmmm very professional sound i av no sub on this set up so cant ere n e mean bass but as a smooth roller very nice sounds like a lot of tracks more ideas needed but big up ya skillz sounding criss
Diggin all your synth work,.. vibes nice n chilled,.....Vocal's would sound great with some big delay's ,..great structure,..like the drop out's,..get's a bit repetative,..nothing new comin in,..nice filter on that vocal,..more of that would be all good,..anyway this some solid production,..great ideas all over,...actually really diggin this tune,.just get's a bit predictable after the halfway mark,.. maybe some more element's to carry thing's allong,...nice work,..cheers CJStyles.
Thanks for the useful comments guys - been v. v. helpful does unfortunately get a bit predictable over the second half so really been working on that bit - bout 3/4 of the way through the second version of this tune now.
Added some strings in parts to mix it up, also added some more filter work over the various parts of the melody to mix things up a bit. Reworked the second section with some changes ups and a better mix down. Sorted out the problem when drums come one of the layers sounds slightly off.
To do: Will have a fiddle with some delay/work on the vocals at various points to mix it up as well. Trying some mo bass stabs
I took a selection of recent uploads to work on my mp3 player as im working nights at the moment an i gotta say i really love this tune now, it stood out everytime it played just love that funky cheeky melody man, there's some notes in there that you can hardly hear but simply make the overall feel really good.
Like others have said i really would like to hear some more change-ups. My only issue with the tune becoming repetative is in the beatz, jus keep em fresh by adding some more variation here n there and i'd love to hear it again, it would fit so well in a mix.
The production is very good too, all the levels are well balanced mate.
