dunno about the clip.
but one way is to try messing with things like waves 6 voice pitch thingy (cant remember exactly what its called) quite cool for re creating star trek borg style voices. or anything else a bit dark (supposed 2 b used for tweaking dodgy vocal tracks but also works nicely on synths to)

*Slightly off topic*
Does anyone watch the new (200x) Battlestar Galactica series?
They have these cool effects on their voices when they are flying their vipers and comunicate with the mothership (sorry, don't have a sample, don't have a link). It sounds like they distorted the highs of the vocal heavily, but that would be too obvious.

Thats not what Im talking about. It has like the smallest amount of delay on the voice. it isnt necessarily a low pitch either. Take a listen to the example you will see what I am talking about

Lower the pitch, add distortion and cut off the high freqs (not the mids), add delay and reverb. I do this all the time when using vocals
I record my words and do this to them, to sound at least little powerful hahah

and it also makes not have to listen to your own voice all the time when u're working on the tune..
I always feel a bit silly hearing my own voice in one of my tunes lol

MorphVox is a great tool to do that, but it's really hard to find a full version. The nice thing though is that if you get the demo then you can use it without limitations for 30 days
(That mean's think fast
