rolling along nicely, got an uneasy groove. I'd drop the rhodes or whatever at some point, when the bass drops?
as well as chuck in some beat changes and/or more fx, maybe add more to the drum sounds or compress em. what you got going is very nice, it just needs more
yo i agree with cynik cept i dont really have a problem with the groove
love the vocal, the title is appropriate got that dreamy come down feel to it
some more sub would be nice, maybe lower and more pulsy if u know what i mean, yea and drop the rhodes maybe roll out some more darkness wit the minimal atmospherics only suggestions lovin the tune
this some beuty poo,..diggin that chilled synth,..though it does get repeatative,..maybe add another couple chord part's to change things up every now n then,..mix sounds great,..could do allot more with that wobbly synth,..maybe some fast wobbles to give it more action,..drum's do the trick and sound great but are in need of some more edit's id say,..anyway this track is forshure an earpleaser,.great ideas,..just need to give it a bit more the CJStyles character,...nice work as allway's,..cheers.
this tune is awesome liking it lots so smooth sounds really good i was kinda waiting for a nasty big drop where is it but all in all your a rudel bwoyl
Sorry I havent been around to review recently, been working horrendously long hours and unfortunately have barely any free time at the moment. This kinda shows in my track as I didnt really get as much time as i wanted to work on the finer points of it.
Comments are really useful as always, gonna get on the case with adding a bit more changes here and there, filtering the piano and making the build up a bit better.
Cheers again, will have some time to review tunage over xmas so will check out everyones latest tunes after boxing day
i dont like the strings, they're pretty loud and the release is to small and the attack is very long. the vocal sounds kinda strange to me
. drums aint bad but could need more clearness imo. besides that its well made. bass sounds good.
not bad man, im kinda diggin the chill vibes, just think it dont seem to go much of anywhere after you brought them beats up front. a tad repetitive for the length. i think introducing some different breaks to compliment the ones you already had would have been a nice touch. maybe some different sound effects too, strings, vocals, etc. the overall sound was pretty impressive me thinks. good strong bassline, clean beats with good punch. these are just personal opinions though, dont take it too hard cuz the style is good, just more fine tuning could have made it more special for me. good one tho overall.
edit - btw i think i agree with rudeone too, maybe running more width on your stereo would give it more feeling i think. just got around to thinking about that.
like the sample, very good quality, good vocal sample too, drums come in nicely, i would add a bit more hihats or cymbal, the 2step hi-hat is dominating to much I think, nice chill d&b, I like it, really man, very good EQ-ing and nice work pickin the samples, all fits in nice, really nice job, except for the title
Cheers for the comments from everyone, very useful, gonna get back on the case after new year and finally nail this song on the head, just sort out all the little things people have mentioned.
Hehe can you tell im total shit at making up names? lol can anyone else think of a better one, Worning Wood maybe
