Whagwaan!
Im a old skool jump up/jungle DJ looking for beats at the mo to make a album.
If your from London and make CALM, crisp beats with nice basslines or well mixed jungle samples den we can talk about doing some deals.
Im willing to pay cash (people will have to be HUMBLE with their prices) so i can buy some beats off you and get my project started.
THanks for reading this and if you wanna chat email me: nicholaslemos@aol.com

Examples of what type of tunes i like:
DJ die: trouble
Shy fx: Pandoras box
a sides:punks
concept2: cause and effect
congo natty: junglist
IE. everything nicky blackmarket would play 1998 1999 2000
and
jungle tunes where the bass doesnt dominate but where there are nice samples with krisp beats and rolls.
ie.
Most Tom and jerry tunes
some Lloydie crucial tunes
SE9: so sweet
sweet vibrations
Thanks in advance!

Thanks munki
I was thinking more like i hear a sample of the beat if i like it then we agree a price for the tune and then you keep that money and thats that.
If you live UK then royalties could also be an option but this album is a small project type CD anyway
Hope that makes sense
Thanks

no fair play mate i see where u r coming from.
thing is, basically what you should be trying to do is license the tracks. Becasue if not, what your saying is you want to buy the copyright, and thats not going to be cheap at all. for example, say i sell a track to you for, i dunno, just an example price of a tenner. And someone hears that track and decides they want to put it out and press 10000 copies, then ive basically sold 10000 copies worth of record to you for a tenner. and you r the one who benefits from it not me.
so yeh do some research on licensing and try and find some example contracts for this sort of thing. because any producer who sells their track to you is basically giving away their copyright otherwise.
sorry i might have got the wrng end oif the stick, are you planning on using them for a mix cd?

ok i get u
well if its UK artists thats what im saying, we can do a royalties thing like 50/50 standard.
But this project isnt going to be that big as i think your imagining, this is more like a personal project than a money thing. If that makes sense.
Anyway, thanks.
Look forward to hearing some beats hopefully...
