im tring to copy an iso image to my external drive.

its saying that there is not enough room but the iso is 4gb the drive has 80 spare

anyway i tried moving a several file of the same size across and it had no problems.

so i've come to the conclusion that its because its an iso.

how do i change it to some like a .doc so it might transfer??

u rename it

but first you must switch to view known extensions in the folder view

use winrar to create split archives. that way you can change its size

Try to do a chkdsk on your externel drive, could help....

check for bad sectors in your command....

If you have FAT 32 file system, it only supports max 4gb file size in the root folder, so you can copy it in any other folder, should be fine.
