yea... thats basically just a sine beat to shit and hi passed with some mid dropped...
then layer it with a anotehr sub sine with no distortion and lo pass it at blike 100hz... you shoudl get a nice pumpin bass...
but its not gonna sound exactly like pendulum... remember that a lot of the final sound comes from teh mastering and mixdown...
but as far as the bass goes.. just make sure it doesnt conflict with your kick and you should be fine...

, but from what it sounds like to me, is an 808 with mad distortion with the bottom cut of, so it doesnt bottom out, its just hi bass with distortion EQ'd a certain way. Its definetly not a reese or mentasm though. Someone else might have a better idea of how to actually do it though.
