Whats up everyone. I figured I would share this with everyone:

Rules
• The contest begins Monday, November 20, 2006.
• All entries must be fully uploaded by 12:00 a.m. midnight PST on Monday, January 01, 2007.
• Entrants must be at least 13 years of age.
• Entrants must provide a Windows Media or Real Media version of their entry.
• Entrants must provide accurate contact information for the purpose of contacting winners.

About the Contest
You've been clamoring for D & B, and ACIDplanet.com® delivers. In spades. DJ Rap offers up her latest, "Feel It," for your tweaking pleasure. Have at it.

About the Artists DJ RAP:
Staying true to her DIY Drum & Bass passion, DJ Rap (born Charissa Saverio) self-released Up All Night through her own label Proper Talent Recordings on November 7th, 2006. The release will be widely available digitally and in limited release on CD. Up All Night is a blend of modern techniques and traditional methods. Recorded live with her band, DJ Rap wrote or co-wrote (Fast Eddie and Top Cat) every track on the continuous mix.

DJ Rap has been the undisputed queen of the turntables and voted the #1 female DJ in the world by Shejay. Not one to rest on her laurels she owns two labels Proper Talent and Improper Talent which she, records for, runs and A&Rs – in addition to being a producer, recording artist and an actor. She has been a prime mover on the Drum & Bass scene but not content to just sit in the studio and direct, she learned her craft as an engineer and produced many classics, often while collaborating with other artists. Hits like "Spiritual Aura" changed the face of Drum and Bass and lead to the birth of Proper Talent.

After being the first artist on the scene to self-release her first CD, she gathered interest from Sony and was soon signed to them along with the likes of Grooverider and Leftfield, where she surprised us again with a new sound. Rolling Stone Magazine gave Learning Curve three and a half stars "this is the record Madonna wanted to make.” Learning Curve went on to sell over 500,000 copies worldwide in addition to her successful compilation sales including Journeys By DJ, Propa Classics Vol. 1 & 2, Brave New World, Armani Exchange & Bulletproof which have all crossed many genres which has become DJ Rap’s trademark.

Up All Night finds DJ Rap in a very content place. She has finally embraced the challenges of her diverse artistic output and will continue to challenge her fans musically with every release. Upon your first listen it’s apparent that Up All Night is in reference to the exuberance of a new discovery and in Rap’s case it’s balance and harmony.
