Please check out my new track 'Revolt', post your comments here and vote for it!!!

Hello again.

This is something i made for sensa's competition. I didnt win but came second which im quite happy with.

Anyways this is a nice deep roller with wobbly bits like yo momma

its quite minimilistic with a sinister atmospheric vibe.

any and all feedback welcome Bigup

im sure ive heard them beats before. Big Grin interesting drum roll.....
i couldnt be bothered to enter this i thought the samples were a bit cack to be honest. who won?

i say the same thing nearly every time on your tunes. needs a little more sub.
cool atmos on the second breakdown, i would have filtered the lead back in with a high pass.
apart from that its all good.

First off.....I am still pretty impressed that I guessed your style out of all those tunes Drummer . Anyways, I dig it, the break is pretty simplistic, nice bass work with the samps, but doesnt really pulsate like it should, more bottom and slight mid adjustment should do the trick. The atmo could have a fewer darker elements. That fill is a little off pitch in the last bar imo. Other than that I like it , not my fav kind of tune, but it did the trick to get u second, and it was definetly one of the tracks that stuck out in the mix! RespekT!

I like the way this track is all rolled thogether. That wobble cut around 1:50 is nice. I like the drops you used. The break is extended and the synths build out of it nicely with a tight drum solo drop into the main body again. I personally would have dropped a couple of heavier amen chops in it just to morph the drops in a different way. But over all I am totally groovin this ch00n. Nice ebb and flow to it. Keep up the good work man!! Spliff

Thanks for listening everyone, much appriciated Big Grin

@ MUNKI C
How do you keep hearing the same beats? ok there might be one or 2 breask i've used before but theres lots more in there besides!!!

@ everyone
i know the drums seam minimal, i've tried layering more breaks ontop but then they become too complicated and it makes the track loose the vibe i was after.

but i'll have a go at layering the snare etc.

@oldmanravah
i was trying to aviod the amen break as i do with nearly all my tracks these days, but i might give it a go to see how it sounds

@cynik
sparse was the idea Big Grin
although i might add a load more atmospheric sounds in there.

once again nice one Bigup

i will do some reviews soon, just i've had about 3 essays to do in the last week

beuty mix on the beat's,..kinda lame with that one note buildup,.....how it work's into the wobble is all good,.. but this forshure need's more action,..id maybe make more of the intro and then bring it all down to the minimal vibe,... just some me silly idea's,....but mixdown sound's tight and your idea's and that sick wobble sound great.....Maybe just do more with the intro,....i donno,...cheers dirty Jimmy C's.
