This is decent. I like the drum edits in it, but the bass seems to be drowning out the kick a bit. Need to EQ that out of there, and get the kick up and present a bit more. I liked the vocal sample in the tune, that went in nicely imo at least.

The intro was a nice build, but the drums came in a little loud, and didnt leave room for the drop of the tune I thought. It kind of took away the build and suspense of it all.

A lot of this stuff would do nicely with some more EQs on it too. Not enough high end on it, and it kind of is mashed together a little bit. Not terribly or anything at all, but it still needs some more clearity and EQing to be done here.

Thanks for leaving feedback on it. Do you mean mashed together at 3:12? Because I am having a hard time getting the lil edited snippet of the amen to blend in there. I have messed around with it alot, just is giving me some probs.Any advice how to fix it?

I meant mashed together in it sounds a little dirty and needs some more EQing thats all.

As for the 3:12 Amen, you might want to boost the kick around 90-125, then cut out the low of it, then at around 250 and 500Hz boost it at about 1-1.5dB depending on what sounds right. From there, your gonna want to give it a bit more high end. Thats mearly done on what sounds right to the ear, but a high self EQ at like 8000Hz with 2dB of EQ would probably be nice, some more mid range EQs in there as well obviously, but thats about it.

If your bass frequencies are invading your beat, you are gonna want to EQ it and cut it off, or turn it down so as to make sure its not interfering anymore and blends. All I can think of at the moment, If i remember anything ill post it up.

I forgot to mention to cut off the EQ on the drums when you do it. For example, when you boost it around 90 or so, take a high pass cut on it at about 80Hz, then again at about 70, this makes sure that most of the sound is cut off, because if you only do it once, some sound carries over past the 80Hz line that can create a clashing of sounds.

Nice ideas, but the whole feels sometimes to much. To many/badly layered breaks, cut them better and make them sound more like 1 part when you layer in the tune.

Sound quality and structure<and buildup are good

The intro is a bit cheesy, i'd change it or let it evolute to a nice "full" synth, piano, sample or whatever you like

Thanks for checking it. The breaks arent badly edited, its just I am learning how to compress and eq properly and I need to fidgit with the attack and release, and tweak oout the eq oon both hi and low end, I just need to fnd the right formula, and it willl flow perfect imo. The intro is pretty simple, but as of right now I am looking for some ideas to add for more atmo, got any?. RespeKt

liking the sounds intro. nice atmosphere.

when the beat comes in it kinda drowns out the sounds.

cut some midrange out of that kick.

there doesnt seam to be much basswise but that might be what im monitoring on.

now there is a bit more bass.

where you've chopped the loops they dont sound tight enough when they are layered, from what i can hear you need to chop them up a touch tighter or quantise them if you have already chopped them up.

not a bad tune. good bits in there man

i know you love the jungle vibe/sounds but i think its had its day

Thanks for Checking it JimmyC. Do you mean the breaks all over because they are pretty edited, and the more I mess with the attack and release it seems to make it set OK, but then the amen underlayin amen edit comes in at 3:12 and then it throws it all off, but then goes back to sounding right at 3:33. I dunno I am just gonna mess with it, until im blue in the face, and see if I can get it to work out and flow. And now onto ur comment about Jungle having had its day.....NO WAY....JUNGLE WILL NEVA DIE! Big Grin Drummer Drummer Drummer Drummer
