hi guys, is there anyone who can tell me how to make a heroic/epic kind of melody? what notes are best used, and why so?

lol. youll have to ask eddy about that.

@sonar - try using short synth notes. thats about as helpful as i can be. you could try listening to tracks from klutes albums or some future prophecies. actually theres loads of it about. check out logic by surora if he decides to share it.

Major scale for happy heroic, minor scale for truly epic. Use your ears, play with a keyboard or just rip off Carl Orff or Man O War

that track is indeed something like i mean surora.

i must agree with you munki C, those short synths do have a kind of epic around them.

but what about the scales to put the notes in? anyone who has a propper answer?

ehh... check chronics post on music theory, that may help a bit... but again, major, and minor chords are key...
