I'm belgian for starters and so are most of the members and all the moderators (even though one is living in Spain). When I started out I wanted to make a site to promote the belgian dnb scene, but it's gone international rather quickly and I like it better that way. We got members from all over the world now Cool

Im from England. i'm only an ammeture as u can probably tell from the tracks i put up. But unlike most sites i like this one coz it kinda welcomes everyone to put their songs up... its not just a group hoo doesn't want anyone else interfering... u no wat i mean?

and some people here evolved very well during producing tracks...
so in a way...I think some off them are trying to grow that much so they can have a record deal...
but a record deal or not...mostly it's for fun ..not?

It is just about fun innit?

But the way i see it is that with d 'n' b its very hard to become big in the music industry, coz thers so many djs out there making wiked records itz hard to get any recognition.
In drum n bass u mite hear a wicked record 3 or 4 times and still not no hoo made it, u dont get that in other types of music....

I dont want to put ne one off but u would have a fuckin 1 in a million chance of making it big... Cry

but with a little bit of luck you can get your record released on labels like gain,who try to help the "up-and-coming producer" (i hate using "up-and-coming" but i don't know how else to put it)
that's if you've got a bit of luck cause not everyone producing tunes will ever get their record released Red Face

I reckon that everyone sort of has success in whatever they produce.

Even if nobody ever hears the tracks that u make (never mind go out and buy them) u still have a sort of self satisaction.. u can say to urself "wow, i made that!"

Thats just what i think tho

myeah... the fun ofcourse... but when you see yeself getting better, discovering more things while producing, getting more good comments, getting more respect, etc etc... you just start taking things more serious to reach that ultimate (dream lol) goal, getting it out on the floors/getting a release...
