went to mexico, these are some of the pictures taken with my digi-cam. Got 'normal' pictures taken with 'analogue' equipment, but those aren't posted here because, i have to scan them first and upload them. I'm still a lazy person.. Anyway, enjoy...

Was superb.. (fauna+flora+exotic animals)²
We travelled a relatively great distance in one month's time: Cancun-Chacahua and via an alternative route back to Cancun.
Visited many ancient Mayan/Toltek/Aztec archeological sites.. result: reading books like a freak on that subject now... 
Country is corrupt as hell (in Oaxaca-state) children didn't get any eductaion at all for 3 à 4 months due to regional teacher's strike at which some of them 'disappeared'.
Poverty is almost omni-present (especially at Chiapas-state, hometown of the Zapatistas), and it is difficult to grasp, though very clear when you look at the locals, but poverty in paradise seems an odd thing for us, europeans..
Oh yeah.... and it's kinda hot in there..... 40°+ during the day.... kinda takes gallons of sweat to get used to that...
But it was a splendid experience...

yay nice pics!!! Seems like you had a great trip, love those pics of Chichen Itza, would like to go there myself one day!
But why the obsession with wet floors?

Chichen Itza, Palenque, Tikal (Guetemala), Teotihuacan,... SOOOOOO impressive. Taken the fact into consideration that the ancient maya's/inca's knew the wheel (as found in children's toy's), but didn't use it to build their cities/temples, and didn't even had carriage-animals as donkey's or oxes... everything was carried by man.. unbelievable.
And yeah, in the weekends i secretly wake up early, empty a bucket filled with rainwater, and clean/swab the kitchen floor without my girlfriend knowing it. And NAKED!!!!

man those are some dam nice pic's,...bring's back memories of Nepal, Laos & Thailand,...was rippin it up in South East Asia for 6 month's,...my pic's ain't digitall & that really suck's 
,....have some real dandy's,....anyway,...dam nice pic's Soi,...enjoyin em,...look's like ya went deep off the beatin path a good bit,...cheers.
