Please check out my new track 'Eyes', post your comments here and vote for it!!!
i recently found the flp for this and got inspired to re-work it with some heavy reece action, i put this through sound forge and tried to boost the mids, anyone care to comment on what i can improve on or add??
i want to keep the simple style of a bouncy roller but feel the beatz could be beefed up a bit so heres the before version..
im gonna be reviewing tunes this afternoon so im not being ignorant or expectin many reviews back,
i've been here for years and dont worry about not getting reviews..
biggup the dnb.be massive
bloody love this site!

intro is cool, drums as well. intro and mainpart could be connected a bit better maybe. sounds a bit empty when the mid is gone. build up and edits are great. mix might need some more hi end and clearness. especialy the drums
bass sounds good on my speakers
cool track

Holy shiz I definetly like this track. That bouncing bass that comes through in the intro is serious. Then the drop yes yes definetly a head bobber. Once the amen edit comes in to bring in the second drop, I would take the bassline and duplicate it and reverse and add a slight bit of disortion it will give it more of a roller feel. But definetly dig this, not to fond of the easy break edits but that iis just a matter of taste. RespekT

lol." ive been here for years"
sounds good. maybe turn up the hats a bit and go for a bigger build before the first drop. i like the break jus before the lead drops out and leaves the sub.
the pad on the break at 2.30 sounds familiar. heavy when it kicks back in. actually its the best bit. maybe add some more fx.
yeh im wi rudeone on this, needs a bit more sparkle. still good though

Hey Glim: thanks for the review. Great intro and build. Drums sound really crispy and punchy, lots of great backing sounds, bass hits etc. The build was great, but since this isn't my favorite style, I was a bit disappointed with the bouncy catchy bass stuff with very happy notes being played. The bass also sounds a bit fuzzy too. The stereo image, mix etc. sounds totally pro though - really solid stuff. In fact, the last several songs of yours I've heard have all been release quality mixes. Again, great sound, very funky, punchy drums, great build and solid traditional structure, but not digging the style so I won't comment any more on that. Keep em' coming Glim.
