Please check out my new track 'Solar scratch warrior', post your comments here and vote for it!!!
im still not too sure what genre to put this in? electro? breaks? electrobreaks?? anyway, put lots of layers in this tune so the mastering has been difficult, i dont have monitor speakers or flat respose headphones so please let me know how the mastering sounds your end, as usual im just being a bit experimental, been making lots of chillout n trip-hop lately, i cant find any producer websites like this one for anything like that so if anyone knows about a site, or generally have any tips for me(i use reason and adobe audition) that would be great
thankyou mudbloods

Interesting intro... electro beat like.....
Ok the first drop...
Reminds on prodigy.... counting sems to be right.....
Drums are played well... they have variation on every forth bar....
Bassline it seems to folows the scales proper with the drums....
The break is somehow not inventive, maybe if you try to make the bassline BP filter and enhance the hihats would solve the build up in the second drop... Scratches however in the break are cool....
Second drop.....
It is very folowed by the firts drop (exelent use of arangement)...
The arangement of the second drop is very good... counting also seems to be allright so I can`t say anything bad about the second drop....
Overall tune seems to be exelent, inovative and new.
The genre reminds on Prodigy. I would say it is electrobreackbeat.
Now the technical aspect...
Bassline "dominates" and there are too much of low frequences in the tune, and that results in losing the drums in the bassline. If you equalize the snares around 6-8khz it will give them presence... Stereo however is exelent.
Now the hihats. If you boost them around 8-12khz it will give them brightness. Also if you increase kick around 100-250hz it will give the kick fullness.
The bassline. Try to increase around 6-8khz, it will give the bassline presence... and I think you have overapllied around 250hz, try to cut it little there.
Overall mix sound somehow muddy... I think you haven`t mixed it down well... When mixing try to do it quietly...and step by step...
Overall exelent idea, liked the tune and would definetely store it on my hard disk

This one got my head noddin, which is a good sign
It's not dnb at all, more like a dirty techy breaks something...
Like scurf said, the bassline is dominating to much and the breaks dont come out too well, but it down a bit.
There's some problems on the mixdown.
Like the scratching, did that yourself?:p

Industrial goodness.
All I suggest is that the sound shape of your drums get sharper peaks.
9.4/10, IMO, general very-goodness.

Yo,
Intro sounds nice, indeed a bit triphop kinda, sounds pretty professional although your snare sounds a bit too dull, a bit too much zippin on the high frequences I think, would make it a bit sharper.
Vocal good fx, excellent time for breaks, just at right time, I like the genre!
Sample melod with vocal cutting is also very good, if just snare as a bit sharper it would get your head more nodding I think, u did a great job man!

The drums need more presence, other than that, very good sounding. Love it.
