Yo iKon

intro sounds nice, nice creepy sounds, the low upgoin choir rocks, but then there is no drop, that's too bad cause it would be very nice then, sub gets a bit boring soon, some more variation maybe, high sounds are all very nice placed though, second drop with short vocal is way better!
something weird (but nice) with your drums after second drums, I like em, although i should change the subline, and put some more sounds in it after second drop, with those drums this track has a lot of potentials , too bad for the sub line and missing reece or melody!

Nice workin man!

Thanks for the comments Bull. I attempted to make a Reece with the bassline it just didnt flow right. I would have to take off the 32ndnote dual delay, and 4bar punch in order for it to sound right, but then it would sound like a totally different bassline, and I really didnt feel like messing with it. I only made this track for Halloween, and I think I am gonna just throw it down in a set on the 28th and that will be the last time I use it, unless I redo everything. But thanks again for the kind words

some strangeness in the beats. they are off but very slightly and its confusing

some nice drum mashing going on, total mayhem. more coherent structure would work wonders in this, just to give it a rest for awhile

absolutely hate that bubble fx

but the whole mix is in a big hairy muffle. those fx are crowding it and the bass dont sit right. but the biggest concern are the breaks which need a lot more eq attention

alltogether soudns you didnt spend much time on this

Yeah I really didnt spend a whole lot of time on it. I just wanted a spooky some what Jungle style track to put in my set for a party i am spinnin at on the 28th for halloween. I spin nothing but ragga jungle, some breakcore but the breakcore is more on the Jungle side of things. i dunno, just thought I would post it, and see what some of u thought. I will put some more time in the drums at the end, and re EQ everything. The bass is really hard hitting so it is hard for me to get it to sound right. I am thinking about getting an outboard mixer for things, because my hands on EQ is ten times better than using the Sony or Wavelab EQs plugins. But thanks for the comments cynik

the mixer sounds great but you dont really need it IMO. but it sounds to me you just rammed those beats and started slashing them with not much concern about the mix Big Grin

the bass is hard. I just dont dig the sound of it, not much sub in it too. and for a jungle vibe you got going a nice fat round sub would be sweet.

btw that bass sounds very fruity loops to me, but you work in acid right? strange

No I do use FL for synths, pads and basslines remember. But I use AP for the break choppin & mixdown, and Wavelab for mastering

the intro is alright... need some more sound fx and things goin on though i rekon... the bass drop is alright... something strange about the bassline, maybe its the eq. around 1.57 is cool and the vocal before the drop is cool... drums soundin cool, could probably use a bit of eq work. the bassline does get a bit boring towards the end... you could probably add some sorta reece or synth.
