Please check out my new track 'Discombobulated - mastered', post your comments here and vote for it!!!

My bad to all. But I had to repost, because listened to the first one, and it sounded awful. Take a listen and tell me if everything flows better now. And sorry for reposting, but the original is being deleted....hopefully

RespekT!

didn't hear the first

nice spooky start

the snare is getting lost in timing, sounds like a loop mistimed with a snare layered on top

that synht is getting tired all by itself that long

when it drops the drums are very lofi. try to bring the high frequencies up

the new synth at 3:35 gets annoying pretty soon

not bad ideas but needs more work

Individual aspect:
Everything is OK as idea it drives me slow but nice, especially i like the second drop that is rich with bassy breaks and continous jingles. Cool I agree with cynik, work on layering.
Technical aspect:
I will assume that you already know for the peak at the beginning of the track preventing you from Normalizing it to 0db and i will not take it as your personal error, but sequencer's, and know this as a rule number 1, when you finish with the mixing of a track i strongly recommend 1 full day of ears relaxation. That's why you have misstaken with the freqs in the mid and high region. Practically, while you read this open the track in the sound editing program (I use and prefer using Wavelab, and vst Q), at point 3881Hz, attenuate(lower) it by 5db with Q factor(resonance) of 0.44, and adding air by boosting everything above 10024Hz around 7.2db. You'll see it will dramatically change the sound for master and you will see how 3881Hz point freq will get lyed in the mix. Wink
Listen the track between 4:25min and the endtime, i hear stick sound is ripping off from the track, it sounds like metronome. Correct that.
R u using low quality sounds? Sorry if i misstake. Smile

That's it, only negative aspects, positive are positive. Banana

Nice atmospheric start
when the drums keep after the first 32 bars thought they sounded a bit muffled - maybe whack the mid range and highs up slighltl and boost the hi end on the hats. After 64 bars the snare is nice and tight but slighlty off beat.
Nice synth work at 1:45+ wasnt too sure about the fade out before the drum break down.

Best part of this track is the synth work but the drums need a little work Smile

That is irrelevant try to "harmonise" the sounds.... Try to hear them all dry and then to apply any changes if needed Tongue

U have a massive improvment here in mixdown Big Grin

I don`t know what OgO`s poin is when he is saing to lower the freqs at 3881hz by 5db I think u will loose the "soul" of the midrange freqs doing that but... hey try why not....
It is a good mixdown now... equing is much better then the last time... and hey don`t get dissapointed for EXELENT equing u need years of EAR TRAINING Wink
