There are a couple ways you can do this.
First, I'm assuming you want to affect the pitch. What you could do is create an add module into the pich input then root the LFO into that. You just need to create a simple 1 input switch to turn it on and off. There is an LFO in the Macro list although they are really easy to make.
Alternitvely, there is an instrument which works as a remote LFO. It does the same job but doesnt need to be physically conected. You just load it up, select the parameter you want to automate and away you go. It has an amount control on it so you could just set to zero to stop the LFO.
If you want, just send me the ens and I'll do it for you.

It doesnt quite work like that.
the note pitch input is a numerical value, say 60 for example (middle c) The LFO also creates a numerical value. It sweeps between the high threshold and low threshold, In order to create a modulation, you add the two values together. To do this you just create an add module by right clicking on the structure background and go to modules/maths/add. Then you just feed the 2 values into the add module and feed the output into the pitch input of the synth. If you want to be able to turn the LFO off. Just create a switch (modules/panel/switch) between the LFO output and the add module.

What you'll need then is an audio voice combiner. (modules/auxilary) This module converts a polyphonic signal into a monophonic signal which can be fed into other macros. Its a pretty useful module. It always goes at the end of the signal chain in a synth so that it can be fed into effects. It doesnt make your synth mono. It just allows you to have many notes summed into one signal. Its also useful if you want to have effects inside your synth like reverb or distortion. You can tell when you need the AVC because if you'll see red crosses on the modules inside the stucture of the macro you are trying to connect to.
Anyway, Feed the output of your oscillator into the audio voice combiner, then feed this into the input of your meter, probably the stereo level meter (macro/building blocks/displays)
You shouldnt really need to meter the output of the osc because they should never clip, unless your using an oscillator bank. You far more likely to need metering after the filter stage of your synth.
Hope this is helpful.
