I thought the transfer would be quicker, so I made the forum offline yesterday, but it seems it will take a couple more days. Somewhere this week the forum will go offline again, and after that it will run on the dedicated server. The move to a dedicated server is necessary. I had just upgraded the bandwidth to 70GB last month, then put D-Lux' mix online and now the site has nearly run out of bandwidth again!! Well that won't happen so quickly anymore since on the dedicated server we will have 500GB of bandwidth every month and as much room as I want, starting off with an 80GB harddisk The entire dnbbe site is 2GB atm so we can grow up to 40x the current size before I need to get a new HD So that means lots of DJ mixes and sample packs, or 16000 MP3's There is one downside to it though... all this bandwidth and webspace is quite expensive, I'll have to pay nearly $2000 a year to keep the site online, which is 2 months pay for me I will have to find some sponsors or place ads to help pay for this. I had that paypal link on the main page for months but nobody seemed to think my site was worth even one stupid little euro so I'll have to find some other ways to finance it...
