Check DOA they have plenty of shit in there on bass. it wont be reason specific, but as long as the description gives a litle detail about waveforms and filter settings im sure you can get the rest of it..
Try a little distortion. and a touch of unison.. should give you a bit of grit..

have to add this ---> try multiple distortions ; for ex.
if usin fl (wich is not the case but u can still rewire
) ; get deltaforce distortion / blood overdrive (compresses while it distorts so it's easy to level) an the sony distortion (comes with soundforge)
gives some badass results

i will usually use an eq, then distortion, unison, eq, distortion, eq. then compress if i fel froggy.
usually works well for me

I'd say avoid distortion if you can, if you can program synth good enough and use the right effects it will sound better.. matter of taste perhaps, - some mono chorus and good equaliser is the key, distortion/saturation is good when you want to control dynamics but when it's too much it just spoils the sound.

well my point is that often people think that more distortion makes dirtier and "heavier" tunes when it actually just makes it noisy and stupid
it's a fine art to use it well

thats what i always hear man, but myself I rarely use it.. the distortion to me doesnt sound that great.. maybe Im using it wrong? I havnt really started using the CV etc plugs in the back, but i use it in a chain... Any tips on using it?
