damn msn link from a bitch, dont think she did it by purpose.
i warn everybody dont open any suspicious links on msn.
imediatly it started picking out people on my msn list and sending the same link.
its hard to type now as popups are comming from everywhere.
cpu is 90% and stagnating.
my desktop is gone too , even the startbutton is gone.
i work with taskmanager - run file ... thats the only thing that works
has anybody heard of this virus ?
can anybody help me , im now trying to scan with a virusscan but its exetremely slow and the popups fuck everything up.
help !

Is it that bloodhourd <----something like that. I just had it, and I had to get Spyware Terminator,PC Bug fix, and I had to run Norton, and Registry fix like 30 times seriously to get rid of it. I stll thinks its lingering somewhere, because if I leave my comp on overnite I wake up to probably 100 something viruses, that get deleted by norton, but I have to either restart or sit there for an hour clicking yes delete file.

Disconnect from the internet so it can't keep sending shit to other people (and therefore doesn't slow down your PC massively). Kill all proccesses you don't know (if you know a bit about PC's). Make sure MSN is closed.
burning stuff on a cd sounds risky right now because you system might break down. You could boot your PC with Knoppix linux (if you have it) so the whole trash can't do it's evil job and you can clean the machine or backup files.

i did a little search and came to this:
its a worm spread on msn called Braban.h .
the file is discribed as photo223.pif witch downloads stuff to your pc , closes you desktop and sends the link through msn.
i did a scan and deleted some hijack things , now i'll do a restart and check if anything is better.

i have "spybot search and destroy" and use some online virusscanners but for the rest...
guess i dont now where to start.
i still have loads of popups even when doing a full system scan.
stupid tracking cookies

Get Avast antivirus (free) and put on a firewall (I guess Zone Alarm is still free). Spybot will not protect you for virusses (in fact it will not protect you from anything, it's just a cleaner).
Antivirus & firewall do make you pc a bit slower and they use resources, but getting a virus is also a spoiler or?

go to google search norton, and download their free 6 month subsrciption, it will keep u clean for atleast 6 months. I dunno thats what I did. Also, that Hitman shit I just download and it found 20 things that Spyware Terminator didnt find, so I think Hitman would be a good one to get. I think me and you had the same one grey because I kept getting popups and such for a week after, and now I just wake up to CLAM AVs all over my machine, if I leave it on. I dunno get that Norton free 6 month sub though that will help a shit load.

Well I jinxed myself by saying I was OK. I had to reformat my comp today because I forgot to turn off my machine again last nite, and woke up and a desktop hijacker virus destroyed all of my exe files. So watch out on Limewire and on some of the free vst and sample links, . This virus did more damage in two weeks than has have ever had done to my machine. So be careful all. I have to find every VSTi and all my plugins all over again. The only thing I could salvage was my project files that werent in the Acid Pro Project file, and my samples. So be on the lookout for some potent ass virus

I doubt it....the only mail that i have opened with attachments on it, are from my sister, sending me some pics. But besides that I dont trust anyone else, sending me files through email. But if it was her.....IM gonna KILL HER!!!
The virus was called desktop hijacker some #. I dunno I guess I needed to clean up my comp anyways 
the only thing that sucks is that the song I had been taking my time on is gone. Oh well.....
