I am at an impasse with this song.
I like a lot of what is going on on this track, but I think it is a little bit boring as it is.
I am looking for some feedback, especially on arrangement & what kind of things I could add to make it more interesting, though all feedback is appreciated.

Beetje trage en lege intro. Spijtig want daardoor komt de eigenlijke tune best té hard aan.
Maar eenmaal een maat of twee verder loopt hij lekker. Ik hou wel van de breakridm, maar een tweede track met extra drums er in zou er wel onderpassen lijkt mij.

intro : whats wrong lol. movie samples 
sweeps are nice. filtered something. bass/kick? kick.. percussion comes in. strange but differently good. ok i like distort but this is just over the top in terms of the breaks. too much noise on the break mixed v poorly compression wise .
no way man too much noise on the breaks.
the breaks are a fuckin cool rhythym. why did u have to spoil it with distortion. too much man fix it

whats wrong 
(dom&gridlock - hooked 
vocal reminds me of that track )
ok intro starts off spooky , sounds good , maybe a bit too empty ( add a dark atmosphere string thing to it) , limewax melody should be louder
, drop is total distorted but sounds verry strong , id say switch between no-noize drums and the distorted drums , the distortion could be done a bit less distorted for me

cool vocals between , filtering too , just some more atmo at the breakz.
2nd is
as fuck :p lol .
classic simplism + distorted breaks --> hardplainsdrifter style.
keep it up man , you got some originality.

On the real! Heres my review:
Ok the intro is cool and spooky, but once your breaks and bass come in its pure noise. there is a difference between breakcore and noise. The only thing i could hear was your one hit seq in the background. The rest is way to muddy and way toooooo distorted. And its a shame because the "i need something stronger" was used in one of the tightest Ragga jams I have ever heard and this sorry to say kind of ruins the sample. No offense,I dont sugarcoat You difinetly need to rethink this track all the wway through. the intro is good the rest is just a a mess.

Yeah, I had a thread about Dom & Gridlok using the same samples on DOA 
But then again, these samples have been used quite a few times by lotts producers, so I am not sweating it.
Thanks for the comments, I don't think I am doing quite what I want yet (a sort of minimal snare and bass devastating style
), but it's getting there.
iKon: this isn't breakcore at all. Cartridge (yes the CARTRIDGE) called this style snare and bass in a thread about Current Value on DOA. I think that Snare and bass is actually a pretty good description of this sort of style.

Next thing you know their gonna have heel to toe DnB.....this sub sub sub genre shit is starting to get retarded. If it sounds like breakcore its breakcore, if it sounds like jungle its jungle, etc, etc.....not OK this tune IS breakcore but since some fool in a mag says ok now there is a sub genre of breakcore which originated from jungle is now called......mmmm......"whats a good name".....aha I got it "its called snare and bass"......come on now.....

lol like this one... the whats wrong sample has been used abit this year.
the intro is alright... does the job... like the mellowd stab used through out the tune...
the drop is heavy as fuk... and the basslines are dope... so are the drums... just a tiny bit too much distortion... and maybe some eq work.
the arrangment is pretty sweet.
nice work man...

i think the stupid name like snare n bass are stupid...
but i wouldnt call it breakcore...
id just call it heavy drum n bass shit because its not jungle...
n i dont really know breakcore that much... but isnt it a bit more weird?

the intro is well fucking scary. not a lot going on, it's a bit too long
drops: ooh lovely clipping. just a tad too much, the snare looses it's power, though I see what youre getting at. cool
how about adding a high hat line. swithcing in and out of it - that stuff
lol the voc samples are absolutely retarded (in a good way)
at about 4:30 the distortion on the drums is just too much
liking the style, hard and brutal. just the execution needs more improvement

Yeah, this could have been a good one I think, but it's pretty much fucked. I fucked up the drums I can't even find any clean files (all are massively distorted). I cleaned it up a bit, but still distorts pretty massively. I really need to start listening to early versions of my breaks on some different systems besides my monitors, this still sounds great through my monitors, but I had a listen at work on shitty speakers, and it sounded utter shit. Oh well. Think I'll move on and try cleaning this at a later time, for I cant seem to do it right now.
