I've been playing with Reason's Subtractor but I cannot get this type of thing

i have bass like that in reason... i think i have a cmb. patch around for it somewhere.. oslt.. it has a little more grit to it tho.. cause i like my bass with grit. hehe ill upload it for you so you can get an idea of what to do.. not sayinn this is THE WAY. just sayin it might help you out a bit.

the bass is just an 808 kick. that type of bass will come with most dnb sample cds. i dont think there is a bass called an 808 in the reason factory soundbank, but have a look thru the basses in there, you should find 1. or u can make ur own by creating a Subtrackor, and chosing a sine waveform (sideways S).

Its 808 bo2 in the 808 sample pack, or the second one in the list. Just add your steps and pitch change and wha lah. Thats specific baseline has a compressor on it with high hi and no mids and half bass. Hope that helps Oh this is for reason.....dont wavs work for reason. I will send you the 808 pack if you want, but they are all wav files

One of the osc set to triangle...
Other on sine....
Detune the tri. about -30 or something....
Add Scream4 set to compresion... set p1 and p2 facing each other... all the way down... p1 to the maximum... p2 to minimum....
Play it somwhere around c-1 or lower...
