drums need more punch and rollin. there are tutorials how to make your drums more punchy. the bassline might need more hi end, equin and some variation.

not bad for the beginnin though

ha ha straight into the bass. nice filtering in the beginning.

Hats are nice to come in. wow this sounds like an old skool tune big time i forget who it reminds me of. some one like total science or something.

Some rolling ames or something wouldnt go a miss. the beat is a bit plain.
overall though the mix is pretty well balanced but i feel a lack of power going on which i come across in my tunes too.

i usually try and overcome putting low pass filters on high end stuff(turning the low pass down til you can only hear the sounds you want) and high pass on low end . taking out some of the high pass, maybe some of the band pass too depends on the type of sound you wish to create. Then boosting sections where you want the sound to stand out with a bit of EQ. wow the bit where the break goes nuts is cool . you should add more of that in somewhere

bass is a bit empty though. sounds like you have taken the low end off the bass a bit :S

try adding some sub basses. make that snare punch out with a tight compressor (channel compressor) fast attack and release settings. probably attack it right down low at 2ms and release around 20 ms boost some of the mid range frequencies a bit more on the snare.

place down some breaks in the same rythym as all of your kick/snare lines.

fucking good job overall man nice idea

75% good 25% bad based on mixing and lack of breakage
