can you tell if it's working? that's the most important thing... and fyi, myspace isn't the best place for people to check out your mixdown, since they re-encode everything (which is why alot of stuff on myspace sounds shitty)....

This song is put together pretty well. Everything sits pretty well in the mix.
Your BPM seems a tad slow for this kinda track to me, but that is of course very subjective. But that said, it still seems very slow.
Drums sound good, but the breaks & drum sounds are a bit repetive and get a little boring.
They need to be changed up a little bit more.
You can layer a nice ringy snare in parts to change it up a bit I think.
It's a very good start.

I was thinking of adding a glitch snare or something like that. But on the subject of the beats if you listen they change every 16 or 32 bars no beat stays the same for long. I am not one for pitch changing just to get it to sound like a different beat, when it is the same beat none the less. I dunno thanks for the kind words about the track, I am just curious about the layout. Cause I have heard nothing but bad things about my layouts. So, I took my time with this. This beats and bassline need some tightening up, and there are a few fx and such i am gonna add. Then its on the eq'n and such which wont be that hard, cause i did it through the entire song as i went. But thanks for the feedback!
