RIOT - Junglism and Raw Beats
There are hardly any jungle releases from Belgian artists and I think it's the first time ever we have a Belgian head making a full album filled with this stuff. Lowdown already made his name and fame as a techno dj and producer with more than 20 releases on big techno labels (Intec, Rotation, Genetic, ...) and still counting.
Last year the urge to make a jungle/breaks/d'n'b album got bigger and bigger and he decided to put all he had in making it happen.
First he released on Junglecore Mayhem, appearing in breakcore top tens. Then he went full force: creating the old jungle rhythms, putting in funk, ragga, heavy basses, etc. And now after a year of hard work, the album is finished!!!Reactions from dj's and producers are very good and there are already plans to put out some of the tracks on vinyl too.
Next step was to bring the vibe to a crowd and make them go bananas. A live-setup together with Mc D.O.C. already tore the place apart on several locations (ao Rock Herk and Dedkob parties in the old jail and caves)
