Please check out my new track 'Atomisation into the dark side', post your comments here and vote for it!!!
ok. the track is still very much a work in progress.
but i feel am lacking the motive to carry on with it . just for the simple fact that in my know how of mixing. i cant seem to bring out the bassline as much as i want to with out ruing the breaks. but i got it to the best i could.
very fresh/pendulum style with a hint of my dark flava .

not bad, too short though. needs more variation and the mix sounds very muggy

Nice fects on intro, drummin also the shizzle,
needs to be any longer but it has lost of good potential.
Some more work on your mixdown too some things are to loud some not loud enough.
But certainlycontinue this one.

pendulum? would have never thought
I dig what you intend with that screeching saw in the intro, but it's too much stripped off harmonics. or maybe it's my ears. layer it with a square or turn down the distortion so the melody can be heard
drums are a bit clumsy, something to do with sample start and the pitching is too extreme (tastes)
doesn't drop that hard though and it should, that bassline is not moving anymore as you raped it to hell in the intro already
but there is something raw and lucid in it. that percussive line is great as well as the atmospheric sounds. try to work on your breakdown more and it's on its way

the intro is cool with the reverbd hits and the reece sounds cool
drumming is cool... you could probably layer another drum kit over the top of that one.
and the conga/bongo type things need some reverb or some sort effect or some down pitching... they sound a bit plan.
the drop does need a bit more bass impact.
other then that its sounding cool.
