Well....to make a nasty bassline. Take your bassline samples. Make the bassline. Then filter the bassline down to nothing but lows, add res to get the sound you want then add distortion. To make a wobbly bassline. Take your bassline, then add lfochop, then slight delay. Adjust lfo and delay til you get the sound you want. Thats about all I know so far.

take a bass-sample wich you can strech out (crossfade to max so the sample repeats itself blalba its somewhere on the channelsettings SMP)

then make you edits on the player , blending options blalbabla

trow it trough a FL Blood Overdrive and try to twist the Gain (overamplitude)

eq it a bit , set it mono (with lo freq allways mono) and enjoy...

Try sampling your own bassline and layering it, then turning the pitch of one up slightly, and the pitch of the other down slightly, this sometimes gives a nice effect. Automated chorus sweeping over bass notes gives a nice effect too. I always layer my bass with a sine wave aswell playing the same sequence to give it some extra bang.

its not necessary to use samples. u can make really good reeces with the 3osc........pitch every osc to the lowest.....change fine pitch a little bit up.....make it saw........

...u can make a lot out of a bassline with (vst) effects....like tube, antares filter, thrasher, EQUO nad so on....

cheers

this is exactly what the guy wanted i believe, why would you sample bassline for neurofunk if it's supposed to be electronic therefore i think it's much easier and more suitable for this genre to use VSTs to produce some sick grainy or wobly bass
