First off.....is your style kind of like happyhardcore. If it is then the beat is ok how it is.....but it sounds like you wanted a dark dnb tune, which if that is what you were going for turn your bpm way down because its way to fast to be drum and bass. The intro is cool, but the acoustic guitar makes you think its gonna be a layed back 2step, or a jazzy style. But then you come out with a what sounds like 200bpm happyhardcore. Please list your genre so that I can better critque this tune.

There is a large schism between the intro and what is going on in the track; i.e., I don't feel the intro fits at all really, and it still doesnt make sense when it comes in at the end. Check out Hecate, Xanopticon, Enduser & Bong Ra. This will help you get an idea with breakcore/ rave type sounds. I think they all do a pretty nice job.
You need some punchier sounding drum hits for something like this to work. I think a very heavy distorted bass drum would help a lot. And maybe layer some other cut up breaks as well; your drums are pretty thin.
I do like the ravey sounds; you need some serious bass to go with this though.
Good potential this has, keep at it.

Joo
Start off with turning your BPM to 180 or 175 cause now its much to high. Its like the other guys say HAPPY HARDCORE LIKE,
The voice DJ u dnt... is repeated to much, before the break starts, try delaying it, give it some reeverb if you want that Dancing DJ is talkng effect. May be the drums need some boosting and some variation.
And it sounds like you have made one half (until the firts break) and then copied it and placed after the other part of the tune.
Maybe your just started, its not bad at all with just a few ajustments you can make it a reasonable track.
The bass needs to be more wobblier and more low frequency, more sub.
keep o doing your thing,

jeah just kidding

Well then his attempt at breakcore ended up sounding like either happyhardcore or gab or whatever that shit is called

this is some weird shit(i like weird shit). wow, the intro and outro is like what? hippie music? i give you some credit for originality (especially cuz alot of these pussies are to scared to do something different
). need some bass lines! that synth is pretty cool. need more variations. this song reminds me of some kind of futuristic robot break dancing contest, ROFL. im not making fun or anything so dont get me wrong.
anywho, it seems your just starting out which is cool. stay with your own style, and "hone it" as "DJ BleAK" would say.

hmmm, i think the vocal sample is cheezy. and yes this tune sounds like happy hardcore, not DnB. but thats just my thoughts. The hoovers are kinda bleh. the drums are weak. if you could find ure niche this could be better. i think the sounds you use are nice n clean. but brush up on the style, keep at it man

thanks for all your input lads much appriciated
To begin with this is supposed to be a darkish drum n bass track i was just experimenting really.
To Saranja: no i didnt copy and paste the first half and yes i have just basically started and just experimenting.
To Exumed: thanks for the nice words yer i wanted it to be original
What im going to attempt to change is:
Im going to slow down the drums or change them and layer them
Make ending better
Dont repeat sample as much
Vary More
What else should im change?
Thanks ppl

Every bit of jungle I make is either 90 bpm or 160 bpm. Depending on the samples. Some breaks are faster/slower than others. SO I would say 90 or 85 bpm should slow it down enough

nice guitar intro but too simple. vox not great. shit!! what tempo are you producing at, too fast mate, gabba drum and bass or somthing. the melody is quite uninspired and irritating. the drums lack weight and presence, try compressing and resampling them. this track is too crazy for me but maybe there are people that would like it?
