you need to enter the number of bars of your loop (somewhere top right) , click that circle ting (somewhere top) and add the slice markers by adjusting the slider on the left.

the go on export and choose wave

sry dont have the programm here

First: Import your loop
1: count/determine how many bars your loop is and enter the number, in this case 1 cuz it's a very short 1-bar loop.

2: raise sensivity-fader and accurately place your markers

3: adjust tempo (in recycle) to your song-tempo (reason, or whatever)

twiddle knobs at wish

Last: export as rex/rcy file so you can easily imoort it in reason/cubase/..

Ok so it is pretty much a waste then, since I use acid pro, and I have a beat slicer that does the same shit just easier. OK.....no wonder he gave it to me! Big Grin

If you're writing in acid pro then yeah it's probably easier to use the integral slicer but for exporting into other sequencers recycle is the shizzle... and it's still a piece of piss to use Big Grin

be carefull with the auto detect because its not always acurate (sp).
always zoom in to make sure that the cuts are perfect on the 0dB line or you'll get nasty clicks.

also i always make my breaks mono before puting them in recycle cuz the cut on one channel might be on the 0dB line but the other wont.

didn't encounter any clicks so far, but it sounds like a good tip.

on my recycle when i go to open file to import it ill open sample files etc and it wont show the files at all, therefore i cant bring em in to recycle. do the things your trying to import need to already be short 1/2 bar loops or something? the only thing i can seem to get in there is the tutorial loop

open up recycle and drag and drop the file(s) from the explorer window

You need to load either a WAV or an AIFF.

WMA files are not compatible.

sorted, thx, last one, how do you define which part your gonna export? i.e. which part of the loop you want to export for example if i just wanna export a kick or summin like that?

you have to set the little start and end flag things around the slice you wanna export.
