Cymbals and Hihats in homemade Breakbeat |

Hi,
somebody can help with the hihats and the cymbels in de breakbeat, because they give the swing I dont understand how to make them or which rhythem they must be given to get that typical drumnbassfeeling.

For a Hit Hat I chop up a reverse snare is what I use mostly. then I filter it in high pass, then change the pitch, and add delay, then compress. I know it sounds like alot, but that is the way I learned my method, and it seems to be working. Somewhat
Also, a reverese snare, filtered in high pass also or a reverse cymbal hit on a amen gives, you a good lead in to a break! Just tryin to help!

Yeah because I can never get the right sounding hi hat for my breaks. You will notice if you try my method it is really dark sounding which is totally my style. If you need anymore help, I am all about helping you out mang.
