does anyone know exactly how spectrum analysers work? Im assuming theyre a plug in, and you can analyse your whole track or individual sounds?
Do you have to know a lot about overall eq levels to use one of these or do you just aim to fill a whole spectrum from x to x level? one problem im having is that some of my mixes simply lack depth like most professionally made tunes.

free ones, anyone???? ! ! ! Wink

cheers
