I figured it out today why my bass is sounding so muddy on all of my songs. I had to use Baxxpander VST so that I could hear the basslines in my headphones, now that I have surround sound speakers set up its sounds totally different. I was using the saturation switch so it made them drown out all the noise in my songs. Drummer Please take a listen to Dark Side again, and tell me if the bassline is any better. Cause thats all I feel I need to tweak in that song. Any good ears would be appreciated!!

baxxpander has to be used very carefully or it'll make things sound worse...used properly and it's bad-ass

i use that poo on allot of shit,..it's great for mixin,..for example->piano to upfront in mix,..slap the old baxx on it,..great for sub's too.
