,..this is dam tight man,...super clean mix,....bassline is solid as all hell,..break's are beuty,..tune has a load's of potential,.only thing is that stabby trumpet sounding synth,..kill's the track,..maybe slap a better sound in there,..tunes forshure worth finishing imo,..cheers.

I would keep going with this one. The track has serious potential. I love the scratching at the beginning. The beat is alittle plain but another layer on there would set it off. But I am saying to much for just an intro to a song. Just keep it up and I will review your final tune which I am sure well be sickness!

you got 10 out of 10. This track is amazing. Only there is needed to be some continuing.
Tch aspect: You are using great Reverb fx. very balanced stereo emulation. high quality sounds. Only take time to make more panning to more dynmaic.

lol that did make me laugh !!! that sound was a sub bass wich i distorted then put it through a high passed filter and then tweaked it with a sine enveloped low pass filter (so it gets the wwwhhoooww sound)

and after doing all that, i didnt relise till now (after you said it) that it sounded like a SHIT bloody trumpet, lmao !!!

and yeah i agree it needs shed loads of atmospheric fx in there n stuff butt this is just an afternoon jamming and i was getting stuck (or bored) with it and didnt know wether to carry on with it !!!

meny thanx for the comments (keep them coming) i might find out something new (like my plastic trumpet) he he he that did cheer me up, lol thanx peeps

Nince track,
Nice scratching, nice bass, nice breaks.
The whole is maybe a llittle to simple.
You need some more effects, som more variation in your bass. But you certainly know how to make drums and bass perfectly match.

my criticism:

nice intro but a little empty to me.

then there is no building up either.

you get crazy in that hiphop shit man, way too many hiphop. Keep that in the intro

maybe the melody is too simple, try adding another melody after it and not just copy-pasting.

drop-> nice ; not great but nice ; could've gone with some more buildup
subs may be turned up a lil' ;
maybe add some more percussion to the drumz to make it flow some more ?
the halfstpe part i personally like the best ; to bad u didn't do the second drop yet Big Grin

that was about 4 hours pissing about in my studio untill i got (bored) or (stuck) and thought to myself is this tune sh*t or am i having writers block so i thought i would do a quick lay out of the tune and chuck it in here for you guys to judge wether or not i should carry on with it or scrap it ...... thats all Smile

any way ive decided to scrap it for now Smile

ill remix it in a couple of months !!!!!!

pps ..... and it wont have the filtered bass that sounds like a sh*t trumpet, lmao, thanks for pointing that out equipped !!! your a star Wink
