I just made a song that I am using probably 15 seperate tracks all with VST on them. It starts off perfect then about 45 to a minute into the song. It starts hissing and popping, and then it is just noise. Yet I can stop the track and replay were it starts popping and it plays perfect again for another minute. PLEASE HELP! I am thinking it is my soundcard, but I have searched everywhere on the Internet and there are no troubleshooting subjects about this!

Buffer size. Definitely. Try increasing it for atleast double the value you have it now. Find it somewhere in settings. Or use ASIO with RELAXED settings.

I tried everything possible with that. It is my shit sound card. I have an Ensoniq PCI 128 Creative one that is 6=10 years old. I am getting a new one tonite. But I figured away around it, I just have to render each morphed track to a another channel, and do that over and over for every sample.Pain in my ass but I had to finish the darkside track.

OK I got a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music sound card today, and it is looking like a wasted $130.00. It didnt do a thing different. PLEASE HELP becuase I am starting to get frustrated beyond belief. I downloaded ASIO4ALL and I am running that as my playback driver, and still nothing. I have fucked with the buffering and everything. WHAT DO I DO!~
