Anyone who has helped me on here you guys are the shit and I have pretty much ditched all other forums except for ofcourse Florida DnB. But anyways. I stayed up all last night re EQ all my tracks, and I posted them on my click. Please take a listen and tell me if I am learning how to EQ better. Any help would be awesome! Mostly Stay Fly RMX is the tune I worked on yesturday and took my time EQ'n and layering every track one by one. So please help. And give detailed feedback for each tune and I will give everyone who does take the time a ten rating. Please take the time to help me Crying

hardass synth (bit to loud imo )
drumz are way in the back becuz of the synth (reece that is)
i'd try puttin a filter on the reece an link it to an xy-controller(cutoff to y reso to x) an take away the low frequencies of it when ur subs come into play
diggin this tune ; now get ur sounds right ; but deff some coll ideas in this track Bigup

i'll review the others later on

I use AcidPro6 beats and putting the tracks together. And I use Abelton 5.1 to manipulate basslines, and synths!

And another thing....how long do most of you spend on making your songs, because I can seem to throw down a song in maybe 4-6 hrs minus EQ and what not. And people I have talked to tell me they spend sometimes weeks on one song. The only song I spent a week on was Jungle is My Destiny and that is only because I redid it 5 times!

firstly i think u should tone down the 'ah ah ah ah' vocals cos they sound a bit harsh when they're on they're own in the intro. unless of course you want this effect, which u very well may do.

when the drums come in you need to make the it more obvious. drop the drums in an make then louder cos then you will actually be able to hear them proply.

you've made the track really full but not makin it too messy which is good. but i think u should give it a few breather's. you could do this by giving the main bass line a rest a few times rather than havin it play throught the whole track. then you could let the drums kick and show them off a bit more. do this and add some variation to the bass and it will sound like its been composed with more thought, havin a better feel to the track as a whole.

you've got the base for a decent track and if you keep at it, u'll get there sooner than soon

as for how long it takes to make a track, i usually get the best ideas and main structure of a song down in a few hours and then spend ages perfectin it. the times where i spend ages on ideas turn out shit. and they say the best songs take the least time to make...

Do you have anything to say about the other tunes, because I have been having problems EQ'n my tunes. But yeah I want the ah ah ah ah to be dark sounding. I am now working on putting the synth down once the bassline drop more of a high distorted kind of thing and take away most of the bass in the synth. But if you listen closely the bassline changes throughout the whole song it isnt obvious but its there. I just laid this track down in a few hours and its just a layout. But there will be a breakdown in the middle when he the vocal says its going down, I just havent thought of one yet.

that's just a matter of inspiration ; sometimes i slap down two tunes in one day ; then give em like 2 hours eq-revision an set them free : on the other hand i have tracks i've been workin on for more then 6 months now ; just tryin to perect every little milisecond in the track ; like i said ; depends on the tune u want an the inspiration u have Devil

No its just a chart for a plugin EQ that says what will make freq will make things clearer,duller,have more kick, etc, etc
